Customize Your Layout, Block by Block

Every browsing page in Klave — Home, Movies, TV Shows, and each sports page — is assembled from blocks: rails like Continue Watching and Trending, and widgets like Live Now or a league table. The layout editor lets you rearrange all of it, and your design syncs privately across your devices.

Scroll to the bottom of any of these pages and tap Customize Layout. On iPhone and iPad you can also long-press any block — or right-click on Mac — and choose Customize Layout from the menu. The page flips into Editing Layout mode, with every block shown as a card you can work on. Done saves; Cancel walks away without touching anything.

Each card carries a width badge — Full, ½, ⅓, or ¼ of a row — and blocks pack together automatically, so two halves share a row and a widget row can hold four quarters. Expand a card with its Configure chevron to change the Width, and on rails that support it, switch the Style between Poster and Landscape artwork with a live preview right in the card. Arrows move a block up or down; the trash removes it.

Add Block opens a sheet of everything available for that page, grouped into Rails and Widgets — Continue Watching, Favorites, Trending, Browse by Genre, Live Now, standings, schedules, and more, depending on the screen. Blocks you already placed are marked Added, but nothing stops you placing a second copy. Sports blocks first ask which of your sports they should follow, so a Home layout can carry the standings you care about.

Layouts are kept per device class: all iPhones share one design, iPad and Mac share another, and Apple TV keeps its own — a phone column count would waste a television. Edit on one iPhone and your other iPhone follows through your own iCloud; your Apple TV keeps its ten-foot layout untouched.

Painted yourself into a corner? Restore Defaults in the editor re-seeds the page with Klave's stock layout for that device, and you can start remodeling again.
